Less than three weeks after historic flooding, the park has opened the south and north loops to the visiting public, accounting for 93% of roadways in Yellowstone. Furthermore, the Alternating License Plate System (ALPS) has been suspended and Visitor entrances from East, West, and South have returned to normal entrance procedures.
While access to Yellowstone National Park will be still be somewhat limited, Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole are open for outdoor recreation including wildlife expeditions, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and many other authentic Western adventures.
