Here Comes Summer!
Ok, ignore the fact that we might get some snow on Friday – the more important thing is that Jackson Hole is kicking off it’s summer season this Memorial Day weekend and Sunday and Monday will be great days to get out an explore!
Memorial Day Weekend is the annual Old West Days celebration. Start off Friday evening with the Annual Rotary Wine Fest at Snow King where you can taste fabulous wines for just $30. All proceeds go to the Rotary Scholarship Fund. Saturday morning the Town Square will be humming with all sorts of activites including a parade at 10 am, the Old West Brewfest, and the Mountain Man and Antler Rendezvous are happening at the Teton County Fair Grounds. See our calendar of events for more details!
Other weekend activities include the Wyoming Whitewater and USA Wildwater Championships, and catch an amazing view of the valley atop Rendezvous Mountain with the opening day of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Tram.
Eco-Tip Of The Day!
Refrigerators are well-known for using a lot of electricity. In fact, they use 5 times the energy used by TVs and more than twice as much energy as dishwashers or washing machines! Dust or pet hair on the coils at the back can cause your compressor to work harder and may increase energy use by 30%. Clean the coils every 3 months.
