Free Ski Day at Jackson Hole!

Hotel Terra Jackson Hole - Skiing on the Mountain

 On Friday, November 29, 2013, ski for free at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort when you make a $1 suggested donation to JHMR’s non-profit partners: Teton Adaptive Sports and Friends of Pathways. Better yet, each donation you make will be matched by JHMR up to $5000. Here’s a little bit of information about the non-profits you will be supporting when you ski for free next Friday at Jackson Hole.

Teton Adaptive Sports, located in Jackson, helps people with disabilities enjoy and engage in outdoor sports ranging from skiing, to rock climbing, and cycling, among others. Friends of Pathways, also based in Jackson, works tirelessly to promote safe, lasting trails and paths for recreational use in Jackson.

Additionally, Hotel Terra will be taking part in the celebrations as well! Visit us all day Friday at Il Villaggio Osteria in Hotel Terra for $1 pizza slices and $1 PBRs while supplies last. Terra Cafe will be offering $1 PBRs all day.

Besides free skiing, the day will feature plenty of other activities and freebies:

  • Free Parking at the Ranch Lot

  • Free START bus

  • Live music at the Tram Jam (9am – ? at the Gondola) and Lazy Eyes (starting at 1pm under the tram)

  • All-day raffle; winners will be announced at 3pm at Nick Wilson’s

  • $1 Ski or Snowboard wax at JH Sports; this $15 value is redeemable up to 12/19!

If you’ve never skied before, or are new to Jackson, check out one of these free clinics with Jackson Hole’s Mountain Sports School! MSS will be offering free Adult and Rail clinics at the following times: 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm.  Clinics will last one hour and have a max participant capacity of 25 people, so get there early!

Concerned about the kids when you take off for your clinic? No worries, MSS is also offering a free scavenger hunt for kids 5th grade and under. Sign up is located at Cafe 6311, located in Teton Village, and lasts until 11:00am.
