With a whirlwind of instrumental styles fusing classical, rock, blues, jazz, world music, progressive, and of course surf music, the California Guitar Trio's stunning virtuosity and sly sense of humor have earned them an enthusiastic following and wide notoriety. Founded in 1991 by Paul Richards of Salt Lake City, Bert Lams of Brussels, and Hideyo Moriya of Tokyo, the trio has released 12 CDs (including a Christmas album and 2008's "Echoes"), shared the stage with the likes of King Crimson, John Scofield, Tito Puente, Taj Mahal, Leftover Salmon, Adrian Legg and many more, and, had its music sent into outer space to wake up the crew aboard NASA's Space Shuttle Endeavor.
